This is not the typical tourist taverna experience — it’s creative, refined and beautifully presented, while still respecting the local products and flavors of Crete. From the first bite until dessert, everything felt carefully thought out. Pure ingredients, strong flavors and dishes that are modern without trying too hard. Big compliment as well for the waiter, who had amazing knowledge about the products, local wines and combinations. You could really feel the passion behind every recommendation. And the ending? A Cretan limoncello style digestif: raki mixed with fresh lemon juice. Dangerous in the best possible way. If you know what I mean 🤩 Stylish atmosphere, excellent service and food that feels both local and surprising. Definitely one of those places you remember after your trip.
